Ready to begin your writing? Help your results stand out

A lot of manuscripts are rejected due to poor English, poor presentation and not adhering to instruction to authors. We are interested in improving the quality of your manuscript. We edit to correct the grammar and improve the language and format to meet the intended journal’s style. We have a team of experts in nearly every field of science that provides cost-effective and time-saving alternatives in the following areas:

1. Writing the manuscript either directly from data only or working on a preliminary draft of the manuscript.

2. Referencing with well-accepted published data as well as to the journal format.

3. Figures and tables are made using the advanced tools available in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel to ensure the impact of quality research work done.

4. We improve the overall clarity and organization of your manuscript.

5. We provide professional academic editing and proofreading services for all fields of life sciences.

The manuscript must be submitted in a Ms-Word document. Upon submission, a unique ID is being given to your data or preliminary draft of the manuscript. This unique ID could be used as a reference in future correspondence between you and the editor. Only an assigned managing editor and a language editor will see your manuscript. The process may need multiple electronic conversations asking and requesting information so that there should not be left any ambiguity. The manuscript editing is being done using the “Track Changes” function available in MS Word so that both you and the expert writer could understand the latest for the manuscript. The manuscript editing does not guarantee acceptance of the manuscript in the said journal. We only provide service in presenting the data in the best possible way with minimum or no linguistic error. However, we facilitate further even after reviewing comments from the reviewers of journals.

Set up Abbreviated Journal Titles in EndNote

PSM Journals require journal titles to be abbreviated. PSM Endnote Library Style for bibliography can be downloaded here.

endnote

EndNote comes with term lists for abbreviated journal names, but you need to activate it for your library. Have you done this?

If not, do the following:

  • Open the EndNote Library
  • Go to EndNote Preferences under Edit and choose Term List
  • Uncheck the bottom two boxes

 Then go to

Tools –> Open Term lists –> Journals Term list

If the number of journal terms in the list is less than several 1000, you have not imported the term list.

Click on one of the journal names and click Ctrl A (Highlight everything) –> Delete Term (Nothing is deleted in your library)

Click on the “List” tab and click on “Journals” to get it highlighted.

Import list –> Choose the file “Medical” –> Open file *

You will now get a message telling you that 13.000+ terms are imported. Close widows.

If you use a style that is programmed to use standard abbreviations, EndNote will now pick these from the term list.

* If the correct folder with the medical.txt file doesn’t open directly, you will find this file in Programs –> EndNoteX7 –> Term lists.

The same way you can import other lists.

Adding new abbreviations

You can add new abbreviations for journals not appearing in the original terms list. Go to Tools > Open Terms Lists > Journal Terms List.

  • Find the full journal title and click the “Edit Term” button; or,

If the journal title is not in the terms list, click the “New Term” button, and then enter the full journal title and the abbreviation.
